Welcome to Dickens Lodge in the heart of the English Lake District

Dickens Lodge has everything to make your stay in the Cumbrian Lake District a memorable experience. The spectacular views from the decking of Dickens Lodge stretch up towards the Troutbeck Valley and the fells beyond. The lodge is located on the award wining 5 star Limefitt Park, just a few minutes drive from Bowness. In Bowness, you will find a fantastic variety of shops, bars and restaurants and from Bowness Pier you can catch the world famous Windermere Steamers.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms the Dickens Lodge can accomodate six adults in comfort. The lodge is very family friendly and children love the wildlife that regularly visits the open land at the back. We are happy to accept clean, well behaved dogs.

The lodge is available to rent from March through to January when the site closes for six weeks. For the 2012 season, we are now accepting weekend bookings in addition to full week and five day mid-week bookings.
